A little about The Dog Within and why I do what I do...
"I have loved dogs for as long as I can remember. However, my interest in understanding their behavior and psychology developed later. As I became more aware of the communication skills between humans and non-human animals, I developed a greater appreciation for the complexity of dog behaviour.
My Journey Continues
"I have been lucky to have had many dogs in my life, and they have taught me a lot. As a Canine Behaviour Consultant, I have always been fascinated by the distinct personalities and behaviours of dogs. This interest led me to a new and exciting path of helping dogs rescued from overseas."
After years of studying, gaining hands-on experience, and earning additional qualifications, I have become an expert in providing support to foreign rescue dogs and their guardians.
In 2022, I qualified as an RR PRO Dog Trainer for Overseas Rescue Dogs. As an RR PRO Dog Trainer, my primary objective is to assist overseas rescue dogs and their families in living their best lives together.

Merlin and Kiko Our Romanian Rescue Dogs
Over the years we have fostered several overseas rescues, In June 2022, we took in an emergency foster, a nervous little Romanian dog that had been in several homes but unwanted due to his nervousness. Needless to say, we all quickly fell in love with him and decided that we were his forever home, Merlin became part of our family.
In 2024 we were ready to open our home to another overseas rescue, and that's when Kiko arrived. Kiko and Merlin hit it off straight away and their story continues to be written.
