The Dog Within specialises in helping dogs suffering from fear, stress or anxiety-related behaviours and offers a wide range of services to both human and canine clients, as well as providing coaching for puppies to help them develop those all-important life skills. Puppy training 1-2-1
Lorraine, the owner of The Dog Within, is an RR PRO Dog Trainer and Mentee, trained and certified to work and support rescue dogs from both overseas and in the UK. Lorraine is also a KAD-approved instructor, which means she can assist children who suffer from Cynophobia, a fear of dogs.
Additionally, at The Dog Within we offer support to people who aspire to become the best possible dog guardians they can be.

As a certified dog behaviourist, I have completed formal education and training to provide the best possible care for your dog. I am dedicated to using only positive reinforcement techniques to ensure your dog is happy and healthy with all dog behavior training

The Methods We Use to Solve Behaviour Problems
We will work closely with you and your dog to address the root cause of the problem and develop a plan to overcome it. When working with your dog, only kind and ethical methods and techniques will be used. Positive reinforcement allows you to teach your dog what you want them to do, rather than what you don't want them to do.
We Offer Both IN-House and Remote Support.
Lorraine provides in-house support to clients who are located near Gatwick. However, remote support is also available to those who are not in the area. This ensures that everyone receives the same level of exceptional support for their dog. Remote support is especially useful for dogs who are anxious around strangers entering their homes or for super busy guardians who stuggle to commit to set class times.
Many people prefer remote support, it is more flexible, not weather dependent and can fit in around busy schedules.
